History of Bonnie Blue’s

Bonnie Blue’s was solely a dream. A dream that then came to life. Bonnie Blue’s is not only a venue, but was named after a person, a woman, grandmother, mother, friend, and companion. Bonnie had passed away in 2018. If she could see the venue, she would be smiling from ear to ear. You can find a picture of Bonnie hanging on the wall in the bridal cabin!

Bonnie Blue’s is a family owned and operated event venue in the plains of Colorado. From a small dream into a big vision, Bonnie Blue’s has been a labor of love. After 3 years of planning, writing on napkins, late night phone calls, breakfast meetings and so forth, Bonnie Blue’s finally made its debut in August of 2020. Named after Hannah’s grandmother for her blue eyes and love of blue jazz, it truly is a treasure from the inside out. Hannah and Katie are so excited for this new venture together and feel lucky to share it with so many wonderful people.

Why We Love Bonnie Blue’s

Location

On average, the venue is roughly a 40 minute drive from the major areas in Denver. You get a stunning mountain backdrop while not being too far from the city. Your out of town guests can attend your wedding while staying by all the city action, and they can turn the weekend into a vacation.

Design

The venue has a modern, countryside barn that has a rustic and elegant feel. It is designed just enough to leave as is or design it up. Every couple can customize the space to truly make it their own. The venue has wood and black finishing throughout the property.

Privacy

Not too far from the city, but in an open area where you can see mountains, plains, and occasional residence properties throughout the area. Most places that have residential homes nearby, have a noice ordinance, but not here! Have fun and dance the night away!

History

The property is near and dear to the family operated venue’s hearts with tons of history sprinkled throughout.
