Matthew & Phillip’s Born Hotel Jewish Wedding

A Denver Jewish wedding with details galore.

Matthew and Phillip hosted an elegant soirée overflowing with contemporary and stylish elements as well as Jewish wedding traditions. The two wanted their wedding to show off their personalities, which we did through unique details and envelope-pushing ideas.

The Ceremony

The two made a grand entrance to walk down the aisle, arm-in-arm, to the Michael Bublé version of “It’s a New Day”. They tied the knot under a chuppah adorned with modern floral arrangements of ferns, red astilbe, hydrangeas, driftwood, and aspen branches.

Matthew & Phillip's Jewish wedding featured a beautifully decorated chuppah.

Prior to the ceremony, they had a traditional ketuba signing surrounded by friends and family.

Details

Leather escort cards were displayed on modern brass frames and uplit with warm hues.

Custom kippahs were handed out to guests for the ceremony.

A “love note” to guests was presented on each dinner plate.

The Cake

The couple blew their guests away with their unique cake and how they chose to serve it. Matthew shared how the two had worked tirelessly with A Cake Come True on a design to truly push the boundaries and be a unique representation of the couple themselves. The result… A series of hanging portions of diamond-shaped cake and a plexiglass diamond-shaped box boasting loads of realistic sugar flowers.

The two then had a “deconstructed cake tasting” experience in which they provided three types of cake and multiple types of frosting and fillings so that guests could mix and match as they saw fit.

Surprise Ending

And how did they finish out the night? By having a surprise guest, drag queen Dixie Krystals, serenade the crowd!

Matthew & Phillip

Some couples leave a lasting impression. Matthew and Phillip were an absolute joy to work with. Their day was phenomenal and we are so grateful that we’ve had the opportunity to get to know them.
