c9 wedding ~ Amy and Evan at Devil’s Thumb Ranch

December 29th could not have been more perfect with such a beautiful venue, snow covered grounds, and the most wonderful couple.  Amy and Evan had such a strong bond with each other.  When we first met with them, we knew what amazing people and how amazing their love for each other and Evan’s kids.

The wedding was an intimate affair with 50 of their closest friends and family that gathered for a weekend of fun at Devil’s Thumb Ranch.   Amy and Evan wanted the wedding to not only be about them, but about the kids as well.

All three of Evan’s children stood up for them at the intimate ceremony in the Timberhouse and they could not have been more thrilled.  The ceremony was one to remember and there was not a dry eye in the place.

We then moved into the Broadaxe barn, which was perfect setting for the 50 guests seated at a long kings table.  Lanterns hung above the table with beautiful centerpieces with a winter romantic flair.  Surrounding the table were 4 pine trees to create a seclusion and intimacy.

The night continued with the guests dancing the night away in the warm and cozy barn by the light of the fire and candles.  Amy and Evan along with the kids, definitely got everyone out there dancing to to the Bluegrassy sounds of Hunker Down.  We enjoyed working with Amy and Evan so much and it was such an amazing way to end 2012!

Thanks so much to all of our wonderful vendors!
