Morgan & Michael’s Colorado Mountain Wedding

Morgan & Michael’s Colorado Mountain wedding took place at Morgan’s family home in Silverthorne that boasts breathtaking views! These two were a blast from start to finish from planning to exiting in their getaway car. Morgan is an event planner who speaks our language and Michael has a rocker background and is the most fun loving guy you will meet! Their main goals were to bring their family and friends together under the love of the Lord, treat them to an intimate dinner party and end dancing the night away. And they did!

When they would go out on dates to restaurants, they would often ask the chef to surprise them and prepare something fun that would be the chef’s choice. They brought this concept to their guests. On the RSVP card, you were given the option of beef, chicken or the chef’s choice. Not totally knowing how their guests would reply, the figured that people would play it safe and not take a chance. SO wrong! Most the guests were in to play the game and were delighted to find that the Chef’s choice was a Honey Lavender Glazed Duck Breast. Delicious!

Guests were also treated to the fantastic mountain backdrop for the ceremony while Morgan’s brother officiated. The color palette was burgundy, navy, ivory and gold for a rich, fall feel. The reception space which is a large garage was transformed into an elegant dining area with gorgeous florals, drape and lighting.
