Let us just start off with saying that these two ladies rock our world! They are fun, caring, phenomenal women that have been to hell and back while Laurie is battling breast cancer. We have been a part of the amazing non-profit The Wedding Pink for 5 years. We donates full weddings to couples that have recently been touched by breast cancer. Meeting people like Laurie and Jessie are inspiring and reminds you what in life is important which is why we are honored to donate wedding planning services, invitations and paper products.
Laurie and Jessie met in 2014 while living in different states. After a year of dating and traveling back and forth, Jessie moved to be with Laurie. Two months after getting engaged, Laurie was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. Jessie has been by her side through thick and thin. We were so excited to notify them that they were 2017’s couple to receive this amazing gift.
Their vision was to treat their out of state guests with what Colorado had to offer. Set at the gorgeous Evergreen Lake House in decor tones of whites, greens and blues, the setting for their wedding was perfect! Until it decided to dump snow the night before the wedding. Ugh CO, sometimes you kill us! That being said, the snow made for the most amazing pictures. There really was not a dry eye in the house during the ceremony! We surprised the brides with raining lights from the beams from Elite DJ, a photo booth as well as custom napkin ties with quotes from their favorite musical Hamilton. To end, the guests celebrated and danced all night for an unforgettable evening.
