Party Singers Come to Colorado

A few weeks ago, we were lucky enough to attend a Wedding Industry Fall Mixer at Studio Wed with the amazing Party Singers.  If you haven’t heard Party Singers yet, it is a must!  They are absolutely amazing!  Recently, they launched their enterprise here in Denver, but before coming to Denver, Julia Tobey, Jayme Lake and Joe Donohoe have been providing musical talents at weddings and special events in New York and LA for the past 6 years.

Rockslide, Rocky Mountain Blue Grass and Absolute Romance are all wonderful options to provide for your guests for your Colorado wedding or special event.  Rockslide provides modern wedding music from the 40s and 50s to today’s top hits.   While Rocky Mountain Blue Grass focuses on a traditional five-piece Bluegrass Band and Absolute Romance is a capella vocal quartet that can take the place of the traditional string quartet.  From our firsthand experience of seeing Absolute Romance, they would be an absolute must for any wedding ceremony.  Absolute Romance sang Pachelbel’s “Canon in D” and we can honestly say it has never been sung quite so beautifully.

Directors Julia Tobey and Shannan Steele are both so passionate and their amazing work shows with every song.   Absolute Romance spent months expertly arranging each song with four voices singing string arrangements.  At the Studio Wed event, Absolute Romance serenaded the crowd with a version of “I’m Yours” by Jason Mraz and the traditional “Canon in D” with an entirely new sound.  We have to say we are in love!
