Unity Candle Alternatives
The unity candle ceremony is a symbolic ceremony done at many wedding ceremonies to symbolize the joining of two families. The unity candle ceremony is elegant and very traditional. We love tradition, but also love the idea of starting new traditions with a creative alternative to the unity candle. It can be unique to you as a couple or maybe things from both of your families that mixed together creates a new unity. A few of our ideas include planting a tree or a flower together and mixing paints on a board or photo together, which can later be hung in your house.
